Complaints about the conduct or competence of a member may be submitted online using the secure Complaint Form.
The Health Professions Act (2010), outlines specific requirements for duty to report. Under Section 27 (1) A health professional who has knowledge, from direct observation or objective evidence of conduct deserving of sanction of another health professional of the same profession shall report the known facts to the registrar.
Failing to report may lead to an allegation against health professional who did not report. As per the Health Professions Act (2010) section 34(c) (vi) conduct deserving of sanction includes acting in breach of this Act, the regulations or the by-laws.
