Covid-19 Alert Level Updates

The Avalon Peninsula continues to remain at Covid-19 Alert Level 5, which requires that private health care clinics close, except those of physicians and nurse practitioners. Closed clinics can offer urgent and emergent care, and virtual options can be offered for non-urgent care. Public Health announced on February 26, 2021, that areas outside the Avalon Peninsula will move into Covid-19 Alert Level 4 as of February 27, 2021. The alert level will be reassessed on February 26, 2021. Under Alert Level 4, Private health care clinics can reopen in accordance with guidelines. Registrants are reminded to follow the guidelines established by their Health Professional Colleges and public health measures.

 

While our office remains closed to the public, the staff of the NLCHP continue to work to provide services. If you have any questions, please call or email the NLCHP office. Online registration renewal for the 2021-2022 registration year is currently underway. The deadline to apply to avoid late fees is February 28, 2021. Please visit the NLCHP website www.nlchp.ca to renew your registration.
